To be a person in this life would not require a lot of thought, if thought were not preferred. Exasperation too is not exactly the most necessary thing, but rather, it is the method by which many of us achieve a moment of peace.
There is no point in worshiping this life, or these forms; because, these things are not the ultimate principle.

Adam and Eve
The garden of Eden story is a wonderful tale. And, in the way of things, I think it might actually be true. Regardless, it is a wonderful tale.
I think G-d and man adds it into the bible, near to the beginning, because it gives us a perspective on life. The command, "don't eat from that tree." I can hear god speaking.
My friend is still holding a mighty grudge against me for having sex with his girlfriend. And I don't really blame him for it, it's what society says he ought to do. But now, when I am feeling his friendship, it shouldn't be that he turns again to this fruit which we like to chew. "Why be aware of nakedness." Why see good and see evil.
I think, behind this door lies enlightenment.

Intimacy
Generally it's hard to leave girls. I've noticed a marked lack of help when, for reasons which will perhaps come to the surface later on, I feel compelled to go. The act of walking out takes an effort of determined will. It's like walking through a pool of caro syrup, each movement is willed to be done.
This, though an interesting addition, is not what I am here to write about. The topic is this: it seems that it is an ability of humanity to, via the mutual, active effort of conscious opening up, to merge ones soul {identity} with that of another person and thereby come to a relationship of love.
I don't want to flesh out the details of how I came to this revelation, but I will note that this revelation marked the culmination of successive layers of spiritual intimacy. It was the point at which I had to stop and ask myself what I really felt I ought to do about being in love.

Inheritances of value
I first wish to show appreciation for my parents who, by their noble actions, raised my siblings and me to be intelligent, creative, happy, and upwardly mobile adults.
We pick up methods of how to function in society from the parent generation which precedes us. These people are the 'gate keepers' of a youth's way of life. They show the child generation not only the results that can be achieved in life, as might be seen on T.V., but also the daily activities that are the causes and propagators of such ways of life. I don't then think that it is a failing on the part of any group of people to have not immediately, and as a whole, arisen from a particular state. Such a group of people simply hasn't been working with the role models who have themselves achieved success.
As motivation towards foreign goals is more difficult to foster than aspirations which are mostly domestic, it seems obvious that it will take time before any movement ceases to be a struggle and attains solid roots. As it becomes more common to see successful relatives and friends, so to will it be easier to travel along similar paths in one's own life.

Question and Response
The following are my submissions to 's annual $500 college scholarship contest:
1) If you could trade places with someone for 24 hours, who would it be and why? (Answer must be between 80 and 120 words.)
Let's say, just for a moment, that it is true what physicists are saying about the nature of quantum reality, and that the variable manifestation of this field extends into our macroscopic lives to create, in actuality, multiple dimensions. This layering of reality, combined with the ability to trade places with someone for 24-hours, creates a limitless potential. Imagine being able to pop over to another universe and find cures for cancer or AIDS, secrets to religious mysteries, or maybe even a long lost love. I want to trade places with that person!
2) What is the greatest "life lesson" that you have learned so far in your life? (Answer must be between 80 and 120 words.)
"Life is a well spring of satisfaction when one makes real one's dreams." We wake up each morning, looking out into the world, envisioning possible steps by which our futures can be made. In the canvas of our minds, our imagination stretches out as a rich mural of color that pleads with our bodies to act. These ideas are the dreams which invigorate our senses, ensnare our hearts, captivate our minds, quicken our steps, and beat the time to our actions. I can think of nothing more fulfilling then to dance by the tune of this music.
3) What is the coolest thing you have ever found? (Answer must be 120 words or less.)

4) What book, written in the last 200 years, has had the biggest impact on your life? Why do you feel others should read it too? (Answer must be between 80 and 120 words.)
I always liked stories from childhood. I have so many fond memories of being read to as a child, that when I see these books again, those same sensations of bliss overcome me once more. I'll take the book from the shelf of wherever I'm at, and sit down to a few precious moments of joyous remembrance. . . . These books are a warm bed, bowls of cereal, and Saturday morning cartoons. They are the love of parents, teachers, and of each other. For the young and for the old, they create and reawaken happy memories.
Yeah!!!

Theory on the origin of distinct religions
An interesting thought that I'd had concerning the origin of religions: Consider, the majority of those belief structures that can be called religion, and concievably even those that can be called science, concern an amount of understanding of something which is infinitely more vast than the person or group of persons who are undertaking these perspectives. That being said, it would follow logically that each of these various groups would come to a necessarily different conception of what constitutes this infinite vastness.
To state the thought with more pith: Finite (human) understandings of something infinite (G-d, the all, what is . . .) will immediately come to differing points of view.
What spice is this variety of perspective.
