Inheritances of value

I first wish to show appreciation for my parents who, by their noble actions, raised my siblings and me to be intelligent, creative, happy, and upwardly mobile adults.
We pick up methods of how to function in society from the parent generation which precedes us. These people are the 'gate keepers' of a youth's way of life. They show the child generation not only the results that can be achieved in life, as might be seen on T.V., but also the daily activities that are the causes and propagators of such ways of life. I don't then think that it is a failing on the part of any group of people to have not immediately, and as a whole, arisen from a particular state. Such a group of people simply hasn't been working with the role models who have themselves achieved success.
As motivation towards foreign goals is more difficult to foster than aspirations which are mostly domestic, it seems obvious that it will take time before any movement ceases to be a struggle and attains solid roots. As it becomes more common to see successful relatives and friends, so to will it be easier to travel along similar paths in one's own life.
